Genau, was ich gesucht habe

Nach dem Blick durch mein - zugegeben - sehr einfaches Taschenglas und den direkten Vergleich mit einem etwas besseren Exemplar stand für mich fest: Ein neues Fernglas muss her!

Bedingungen waren:
* kompakt und leicht, so dass es auch ohne Probleme weiterhin in den Wanderrucksack passt
* natürlich wollte ich eine möglichst vernünftige Optik mit einem hellen und kontrastreichen Bild
* die Okular-und Objektivdeckel sollten möglichst angebunden sein, also nach dem Abnehmen nicht lose rumfliegen

Nach ausgiebiger Recherche hatte ich mich erstmal für das Kolibri 8x33 entschieden, das ging aber sofort wieder zurück, da ein Defekt an den Augenmuscheln vorlag. Nochmal ein bisschen überlegt und mit diesem Kolibri 8x42 verglichen und dann war die Entscheidung getroffen. Mit dem 8x42 hätte ich dann doch ein eher vollwertiges Fernglas nicht nur für kurzzeitige Nutzung während der Wanderung.

Und seit es bei mir ist, bin ich absolut begeistert!
Das Glas fühlt sich hervorragend an in der Hand und die Haptik ist sehr wertig. Die Verstellung der Augenmuscheln in drei Stufen rastet sauber ein, der Mitteltrieb ist angenehm leichtgängig und spielfrei.
Dass DDOptics dem Kolibri 8x42 einen Niggeloh-Gurt spendiert, ist absolut großartig. (beim 8x33 war übrigens ein etwas einfacherer Neopren-Gurt dabei)
Beim Tragen merkt man das Glas um den Hals quasi fast gar nicht, was an der tollen Kombination aus geringem Gewicht und dem ergonomisch geformten Gurt liegt.

Die Optik des Glases ist für mein Empfinden sehr gut. Man hat ein scharfes, helles und kontrastreiches Bild. Natürlich sind Randunschärfen und CAs erkennbar, wenn man gezielt darauf achtet, die aber nicht wirklich stören.

Wenn ich über mein Kolibri etwas Negatives sagen könnte, dann wäre es über die mitgelieferte Tasche:
Die Tasche selbst ist ansich sehr ordentlich, leicht gepolstert und passgenau. Was mir allerdings nicht besonders gefällt ist der nicht abnehmbare Gurt. Wenn ich jetzt also das Glas mit dem montierten Niggeloh-Gurt am Fernglas in der Tasche transportiere, dann habe ich zwei Gurte rumbaumeln - das ist nicht sehr schön und hier hätte ich mir eine etwas durchdachtere Lösung gewünscht, mit Karabinern oder Steckverschlüssen z.B. Letztendlich habe ich den montierten Gurt von der Tasche entfernt und tüftle momentan an einer DIY-Lösung, evtl. in Richtung Semi-Harness, mal sehen.
Das trübt aber meine Freude über das tolle Kolibri 8x42 überhaupt nicht und ich kann dieses Glas jedem, der ein leichtes und kompaktes Fernglas mit sehr guter Optik sucht mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen!

Fernglas Kolibri

Habe das Fernglas über Amazon bestellt und für meine Zwecke ist es sehr gut, nutze es für Bogensport und Wildbeobachtung sogar in der Dämmerung.

Spitzenglas mit top Preisleistungsverhältnis

Ich führe das Glas jetzt seit über einem Jahr. Es ist ständiger Begleiter, ob im Urlaub in den Bergen oder beim Jagen. Druch den breiten Trageriemen trägt es sich angenehm leicht. Und das Gewicht fällt kaum auf.
Ich hatte es als Zweitglas für die Jagd am Tag angedacht. Wollte nicht immer mein schweres 9*63 mit mir rumtragen. Ein Vergleich des Glases dann mal bei Mondschein auf dem Feld hat mich bewogen dieses Glas als Hauptglas zu nehmen. Es ersetzt mein altes Nachtglas weitestgehend. OK bei mondlosen Nächten denke ich ist das 9*63 vielleicht noch besser. Aber den Vergleich habe ich bisher nicht gemacht.
Leider ist aber auch, zumindest bei mir, aufgefallen das ich die Schärfe oft nachstellen muss. Ob das an meinen Augen oder am Glas liegt kann ich so jetzt aber nicht beurteilen.
Hatte bei der Bestellung zur Ansicht auch ein 10x42 von DDOptics dabei. Die Helligkeit waren Unterschiede wie Tg und Nacht. Ich bin froh das ich dieses Glas zugunsten er Helligkeit gewählt habe.

Als Fazit kann man aber festhalten wer ein leichtes Allroundglas sucht ist hiermit bestens bedient.
