Finance Manager / Controller (all genders) – DDoptics Chemnitz
You play a central role in our financial accounting, financial reporting and management accounting: providing transparency and reliable figures and supporting management decisions.
Although this is a finance role, many members of the DDoptics team are hunters and sports shooters or optics enthusiasts — and this is exactly the audience our brand reaches (e.g. jobs in the hunting industry / jobs for hunters, binoculars, riflescopes, sports optics). If you love numbers and are looking for a down-to-earth team, you will fit right in.
Please note: You do not need to know all our internal software. We will introduce you to our processes — what matters is organisation, accuracy and a clear understanding of numbers.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, with a focus on deadlines and quality
- Liquidity planning and payments: preparation and monitoring
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting
- Reports, analyses and key performance indicators for management and departments
- Liaising with payroll and supporting policies and processes
- Commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration or economics, with practical experience in finance and accounting
- Good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax fundamentals, with a confident approach to your work
- Confident use of MS Office and familiarity with digital processes
- Organisation, reliability and teamwork
