Bunsi – The arrival

Welcome to Namibia: Episode 1 follows the journey, arrival and first impressions at Bunsis Jagdoase. The DDoptics field series starts on location, where riflescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes have to prove themselves in everyday life on the farm, not in a studio.

See how the setup, equipment and expectations come together: observation, handling and preparation for the episodes ahead, with testing in real hunting conditions and precision at long range.

The riflescope endurance test

How tough are modern riflescopes when conditions get demanding? In Episode 2, we deliberately push the limits in Namibia with water, impacts and physical stress. Afterwards, we check what matters most: does the point of impact stay consistent, and do the mechanisms remain reliable?

The focus is on practical criteria: repeatability, adjustment, waterproofing and reliable operation. An extreme test is not everyday use, but it can reveal the reserves that high-quality riflescopes offer in real conditions.

Bunsi tests the NXT binoculars

Episode 3 offers genuine field impressions: Bunsi tests the DDoptics NXT binoculars out in the wild, with no studio and no script. The view, contrast, detail recognition and everyday handling are what count.

When observing wide-open landscapes, comfortable viewing, a steady image and the ability to spot details quickly make a difference. That is what good binoculars are for: raise them, look, assess, and rely on your optics.
