The DDoptics HDS 10x42 binoculars bring birds, wildlife and landscape details noticeably closer. Their 10x magnification, compact size and ample light reserves make them versatile binoculars for hiking, birdwatching and stalking.
Compact prisms. Brilliant image.
The DDoptics HDS 10x42 binoculars use a compact Schmidt-Pechan prism system. A dielectric mirror and phase coating support bright, high-contrast images, while the multi-coating and ED objective help reduce reflections and colour fringing.
Up to 90 % light transmission for clear observation.
FLK glass from Japan, dielectric-coated prisms and multi-coating use incoming light particularly efficiently. The result is an impressive combination of colour brilliance, contrast and brightness – even when the light fades.
More detail, clearly in view.
With a field of view of 105 m at 1.000 m, the HDS 10x42 offers a well-balanced image for its magnification. The high-point eyepieces support sharp, comfortably expansive views far into the edges.
Robust construction. Precise adjustment.
The aluminium housing and grippy armour provide a secure hold on the HDS. The metal eyecups adjust in four steps and can be removed for cleaning. A central, lockable dioptre and non-slip focusing wheel enable precise, controlled focusing.

The DDoptics HDS 10x42 binoculars come with a matching binocular bag, a Niggeloh carrying strap and protective caps for the objectives and eyepieces.
Clear views when the weather changes.
The HDS is waterproof and nitrogen-filled; it is tested for one hour at a water depth of 1,5 m. The RNP nano-coating helps the outer lens surfaces repel water – for clear views in rain and changing temperatures.

High resolution
The smaller DDoptics HDs binoculars (s stands for small) also combine extremely high image resolution with sharp detail into the edges of the field of view. Chromatic aberrations are almost completely suppressed through sophisticated processes and the highest-quality materials.
Transmission
HDs binoculars also offer very good light transmission of up to 90 %, along with a viewing experience in colour brilliance, contrast and brightness that is unusual in this price range. They too use the newly developed FLK glass from Japan. Dielectric mirror coatings on the prisms and a newly developed
coating ensure vivid colours and low light losses.
Wide field of view
The newly developed armour makes HDs binoculars almost “stick” to your hands, making slipping or sliding out of your grip virtually impossible, even in rain. The fields of view of the HDs binoculars are pleasingly wide too. The 105 m field of the HDs 10x42 is particularly impressive for its sharp detail right to the outermost edge.
