The new ultra-bright and indestructible Pirschler 8x45 Abbe-König / magnesium night & hunting binoculars
are the long-awaited, smaller "stalking version" of the Pirschler night binoculars. Alongside reduced dimensions and weight  (950 g.), these stalking binoculars are designed primarily to remain suitable for night-time high-seat hunting. For this reason, the new stalking binoculars also feature Abbe-König prisms and an objective diameter larger than the usual 42 mm. In combination with Abbe-König prisms and high-quality multicoating, the larger objectives
make these binoculars significantly brighter than binoculars with a 42 mm objective diameter.

Stability and robustness
Thanks to state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques, these optics are indestructible, lightweight and extremely comfortable to handle. The Pirschler 8-/10x45 binoculars are therefore not only suitable for every application but are also ideal for children's and women's hands.

With the exception of the tripod socket cap and armour, the new Pirschler binoculars contain not a gram of plastic, either in the body or in wear parts. The body and bridge are made from an ultra-hard yet extremely lightweight magnesium alloy used in aircraft construction, making the binoculars virtually unbreakable. For improved functionality, the dioptre adjustment (range +-4) is no longer on the focusing wheel but on the right eyepiece. All these controls – dioptre adjustment, eyepiece and focusing wheel – are made from duralumin for long-term durability under heavy use. The Best Grip armour on the outside of the body prevents hands from slipping. This makes gripping and holding these compact binoculars with one hand comfortable and secure, even when wearing gloves.

Brilliant binocular optics
Looking through the eyepieces of the Pirschler 8x45 binoculars, the image brightness is immediately striking. Extremely high light transmission provides the basis for brilliant, high-contrast images with sharply defined contours, even at twilight. Even at night, the Pirschler 8x45 proves a reliable hunting companion. CT glass with an elaborate DDlucid coating and high-quality Abbe-König prisms delivers the bright, clear image. Dispersion is very low.

Comfortable operation for uninterrupted nature observation
The sophisticated ergonomic design allows the Pirschler binoculars to sit steadily in the hand. The Best Grip armour on the outside prevents hands from slipping. Thanks to the open bridge with its ergonomic grip, one-handed use and a secure, steady hold are comfortable even with gloves. The dioptre adjustment (range +-4) is on the right eyepiece and, like all the controls, is made from durable duralumin. The Raindefender Nano coating provides a water-repellent lotus effect, and the binoculars are fully pressure-waterproof. The eyepieces twist in and out to 3 positions for the perfect eye distance. This allows glasses wearers to use the full wide field of view (135 m). The adjustment is firm and free of play.

The Raindefender Nano coating provides a water-repellent lotus effect, while the binoculars themselves are fully pressure-waterproof to 1 m in warm or cold water.

Smart Focus from 50 m to infinity
Smart Focus is particularly useful at twilight or at night: this technology largely eliminates the need to refocus the Pirschler binoculars. After focusing on an object approximately 100 metres away, the eye automatically adjusts over distances from 50 metres to infinity without constant refocusing. Setting the function from 50 m to infinity: turn the tactile line marking on the focusing wheel upwards to set this function.

Wide field of view
The 135-metre field of view offers clear advantages when scanning, helping you find or notice game more quickly.

Also suitable for glasses wearers
The metal eyecups twist in & out to 3 positions to provide the perfect eye distance.
The adjustment is firm, solid and completely free of play.
The eyecup mechanism is significantly improved over the previous model, with appropriate tactile resistance and clearly defined intermediate click stops. (No rattling, no play, no accidental adjustment.)
The Pirschler binoculars also offer greater eye relief than other binoculars in this class (20 mm).
