The new DDoptics RF 1200 PRO rangefinder combines a new ergonomic design with improved technical features. The LED display has been completely redesigned: readings now appear in red in the centre of the optics, with reduced light emission. Together with the new automatic display brightness adjustment, this makes the readings easier to see without glare, even at night.

In addition to the improved LED display, several new operating modes have been added. Alongside the familiar modes - NORMAL MODE and FOG/RAIN MODE there are now modes for calculating ballistic trajectory, determining horizontal distance and calculating object height, as well as an improved GOLF MODE. Results can be displayed in metres or yards as required.

Despite these new features, weight has increased only minimally, and dimensions are only slightly larger than those of the RF 1200 mini.

The RF 1200 PRO rangefinder offers 6 operating modes, selected by pressing the “MODE” button.
1. NORMAL MODE: No additional symbol appears on the screen. Only the measured distance to the targeted object is displayed.
2. GOLF/TARGET MODE: Press and hold the “MODE” button while pointing the RF 1200 PRO at the flag or target. The RF 1200 PRO automatically recognises the differently coloured object and holds its distance on the display.
3. BALLISTIC MODE: The distance and angle are measured first, and the actual trajectory is calculated from them. This is a useful feature for target shooters, golfers and archers.
4. HORIZONTAL DISTANCE: This mode uses the angle to determine the horizontal distance to an object. This function can also be useful for archers, for example.
5. VERTICAL HEIGHT:  This mode calculates the height of objects. First measure the distance and angle to the top edge by pressing the “MODE” button once, then aim at the bottom edge and press “MODE” again. The object's height then appears on the display.
6. FOG/RAIN MODE: This mode allows measurements at distances over 30 m in poor weather.

Information on electrical and electronic equipment
The following information is intended for private households using electrical and/or electronic equipment. Please observe these important instructions for environmentally responsible disposal of old equipment and for your own safety.
1. Information on the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment and the meaning of the symbol in Annex 3 to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG):
Owners must arrange for old equipment to be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. Waste electrical and electronic equipment must therefore not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste and, in particular, must not be placed in household waste. Instead, it must be collected separately and disposed of, for example, through local collection and return schemes.
