Riflescope with quick adjustment & zero stop
A dual scale on the elevation adjustment allows the number of clicks made to be read and set. After sighting in, the reticle adjustment can be reset to zero by loosening the turret lock with a coin or screwdriver. The zero setting is then secured from below using the zero stop to create a stop at the zero position. Starting from zero, different shooting distances can be preset using a marking system.
Tactical illuminated Mildot reticle in the 2nd focal plane
The Nighteagle V6 5-30x50 NFX riflescope has a Mildot reticle calibrated at 10x magnification in the eyepiece focal plane (2nd focal plane), so its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. Even at 30x magnification, the crosshairs cover only 1,8 mm of the target at a shooting distance of 100 m, and the field of view at maximum magnification is still 1,3 m at 100 m. The riflescope allows lightning-fast target acquisition. Each click adjusts the reticle by 0,1 MRAD, or 1 cm at 100 m. At 300 m, this corresponds to a point-of-impact change of around 3 cm per click.

The best illuminated dot for backlighting / twilight / night vision
The fibre-optic illuminated dot (also available as an optional automatic IFiber version at extra cost) is kept small enough to obscure as little of the target as possible. Thanks to fibre-optic technology, the riflescope's illuminated dot becomes not only dimmer but also finer at low brightness settings. The dot can be dimmed continuously by 100 % until it is no longer visible to the human eye. Below level 4, it can only be seen with a night-vision device. On request, the dot can be adapted for use with night-vision types such as Photonis commercial-grade XD4 or XR5 or Gen. 3. With the illuminated dot switched off, the continuous reticle appears like that of a riflescope without illumination, uninterrupted by a distracting, isolated dot. With the dot switched on, there is neither distracting glow nor reflections inside the optics. As the illumination unit is made by hand, individual customer requirements can be accommodated.
