Which illuminated dot does this rifle scope have?
Our V6 5-30x50 rifle scope is equipped with a manually operated fibre-optic illuminated dot as standard.

Rifle scope with quick adjustment & Zerostop
A dual scale on the elevation adjustment allows you to read and set the number of click adjustments. After sighting in, the reticle adjustment can be reset to zero by loosening the turret lock with a coin or screwdriver. The zero setting is then locked from below using the Zerostop to establish a stop at zero. Starting from zero, different shooting distances can be preset using a marking system.

Windage adjustment with opposing scales
The windage adjustment has two scales running in opposite directions. Starting from zero, settings can be made to account for wind direction and strength or movement of the target.

Parallax adjustment
from just 25 m guarantees a sharp, comfortable image at all magnification settings and corrects aiming error caused by an off-axis viewing position.

Virtually indestructible rifle scope
The nitrogen filling of the Nachtfalke 5-30x50 Tactical rifle scope ensures waterproofing (0.3 kg/square centimetre) and protects against internal fogging. Rough use cannot harm the scope tube (diameter: 30 mm, length: 348 mm), which is made from duralumin (70 percent), brass (20 percent) and steel (10 percent). The outer walls are over one millimetre thick. Shock resistance is rated at 1,000 G or 6,500 joules. The scope remains fully functional even at extreme temperatures (+80 degrees Celsius down to a minimum of -20 degrees Celsius).

Eye relief and dioptre adjustment
Eye relief is 89 mm, allowing use with larger calibres. Only three quarters of a turn are needed to cover the entire magnification range. A ribbed adjustment at the rubber-covered eyepiece end makes dioptre adjustment (-3 to +4) easy.

The best illuminated dot for backlighting / twilight / night vision
The fibre-optic illuminated dot (also available as an automatic IFiber version for an optional surcharge of €89)  is kept extremely small to obscure as little of the target as possible. Thanks to fibre-optic technology, the dot becomes not only dimmer but also finer when brightness is reduced considerably. It can be dimmed continuously by 100 percent until it is no longer visible to the human eye. Below level 4, the dot can only be seen with a night vision device. On request, it can be adapted for night vision devices such as Photonis commercial-grade XD4 or XR5 or Gen 3. When illumination is switched off, the continuous reticle appears as it would in a scope without illumination and is not interrupted by a distracting, isolated dot.
