tacA reticle
The tacA is very simple to use. With the reticle in the second focal plane, at 10x magnification the spacing between full marks is exactly 1 MRAD -> 10 cm at 100 m. The intermediate marks correspond to 0.5 MRAD -> 5 cm.
The arrow-shaped tapered posts are deliberately transparent so that nothing behind the reticle is hidden.
Continuously adjustable illuminated dot, from daylight to night vision mode
The tacA illumination unit is a finely balanced system with a very wide brightness range. Only an extremely small illuminated dot is visible. Intelligent automatic shut-off is also available as an option for this scope.

Precisely positioned internal zero stop
After removing the reticle adjustment turret cap by loosening 3 grub screws, the turret can be lifted off. Beneath it is the zero stop, a round black disc. After sighting in, the zero stop is adjusted by loosening the 3 grub screws on the disc. When loose, the disc can be turned to its stop without affecting the adjustment, then secured again with the grub screws. The stop is visible in the image between the disc and the scope. The turret is then refitted at zero and secured with its 3 grub screws. The zero stop now returns precisely to the distance at which you sighted in.
Precision with 10x zoom
The DDMP 4-40x50 is DDoptics' first V10 rifle scope and offers a particularly versatile range of uses. This advanced 4-40x50 DDMP scope is especially suited to target shooting from 100 m–1000 m. Its huge adjustment range of 33.2 MRAD -> 100 MOA allows distances of 2000 m and beyond, although magnification must be limited to 20x at the extremes of reticle adjustment for technical reasons. At distances from 100 m–1000 m, 40x magnification can be used. The entire adjustment range is covered in just 3 revolutions, allowing very rapid changes between different distances.
Absolute precision at medium range
Whether for long-range target shooting or medium distances between 100 m and 1000 m, the advanced 4-40x50 DDMP rifle scope covers a wide range of uses. Its huge adjustment range of 33.2 MRAD -> 100 MOA allows distances of 2000 m and beyond. Limitation: at distances beyond 1000 m, the reticle must be adjusted towards the outermost part of its range. In this outer area of the optics, resolution is no longer sufficient for 40x magnification for technical reasons. Magnification must therefore be reduced to 20x. At all practical European target-shooting distances where the reticle remains closer to the centre of the field of view, image resolution supports magnification up to 40x.
