An Expansive View – with a 141,6 m Field of View
In nature or on a hunt, the DDoptics NXT 8x42 provides an exceptional 141,6 m field of view at 1.000 m for a superb overview. Keep everything in sight: moving animals, broad landscapes or fast-paced birdwatching scenes. Such a wide field of view is rare, making the difference between seeing and experiencing.
The Schmidt-Pechan Prism in the NXT
Inside the DDoptics NXT is a high-quality Schmidt-Pechan prism system. It allows a particularly compact design without mirroring or rotating the image. BaK4 prisms provide a brilliant image without darkened edges.
The phase-correction coating at the glass-air interfaces preserves sharpness down to the finest detail. A dielectric coating on critical reflecting surfaces also ensures maximum light transmission for bright, high-contrast images in any weather.
