The blade is made from AUS-10, a proven Japanese knife steel with a composition very similar to 440C. The steel used contains additional vanadium for improved edge retention. The spine is grooved along one third of its length, providing a non-slip thumb rest and adding visual interest. The blade features a proven, classic hollow grind. The ergonomically shaped handle provides a secure, comfortable grip. The knife comes in a sturdy pouch-style sheath made from black saddle leather.
