The bright EDX 82 CS angled spotting scope has an 82 mm objective lens and is available with 2 different eyepieces. The interchangeable eyepieces offer variable magnification of 20–60× or 25–50× respectively. They differ primarily in their wide fields of view. Both versions qualify as wide-angle spotting scopes (35–21 m or 42–27 m respectively), making it significantly easier to locate subjects.

Capture the moment
The interchangeable eyepieces attach to the spotting scope body via a bayonet mount. This mount is compatible with eyepieces from leading optics manufacturers worldwide, giving EDX 82 CS users flexible options. For example, special adapters allow film and digital SLR cameras to be connected to the EDX 82 CS. This also makes switching between observation and photography quick and convenient.
High-contrast optics
The built-in, extensively coated ED fluoride lenses deliver exceptionally sharp outlines and brilliant images with natural colours. Large exit pupils of up to 4.1 mm ensure comfortable viewing. Apochromatic correction guarantees a reflection-free image in backlit conditions. The DDlucid coating, already proven in DDoptics EDX binoculars, provides maximum contrast, sharpness, brightness and image brilliance. The convenient dual-focus system offers coarse and fine focusing with two different adjustment ratios.
Robust and lightweight
The sturdy EDX 82 CS housing is compact at 330 mm long and covered in thick, non-slip rubber armouring for a secure grip. The use of lightweight, strong magnesium keeps the spotting scope's weight down to just 1350 g without an eyepiece. The EDX 82 CS is nitrogen-filled and guaranteed waterproof. A special dirt-repellent coating causes water droplets to bead off.
